On April 6, 2015, I read from a work in progress at Noir at the Bar – Baltimore, held at Mi Ranchito in the Hollins Market neighborhood. Fellow readers included Nik Korpon, Phillip Thompson, Damien Walters, Jessica McHugh, Eryk Pruitt and Michael Hughes.

This reading was memorable and special to me as I read from a novel I wrote over the course of 2 years–a strange book, a bizarre book, a difficult and devilish books about organ harvesting and gladiators. See what I mean?

In the end, the book died, but I still love it for the weirdo it wanted to be and, ultimately, became.
